What is Programming ?
Programming is a way to instruct the computer to perform various tasks. The languages we write in those programs are many. The ability to code computer programs has become important in today’s society. Computer programming has become much more visual and easier to create over the past few years, thanks to "blocky" commands. Blocky commands look like fun and colorful interlocking puzzle pieces. Each piece represents a command you can give your computer and it often has a variable that can be modified for a particular purpose. Scratch's blocky components were created with all of its computer code built in and behind the scenes. Therefore, anyone can create simple to complex programs and activities using Scratch. It helps students to understand and learn the basic functionalities of programming.

Scratch is a free online computer based program developed by MIT Media Lab that allows students to create, design, and share games, interactive stories, arts and animations. Students use blockly codes to create simple to complex projects.
